Two scholarships were awarded in 2018. A scholarship was awarded to Colton Wiseman who graduated from Round Rock High School and is attending Blinn College. Colton is pursuing a career in fire safety. A scholarship was also awarded to Amber Garcia who graduated from East View High School in Georgetown. Amber is attending Sam Houston State University where she is studying for a paramedic career.
The 2017 Steven Kincaid Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Cameron Ellner. Cameron graduated from Rouse HS in Leander ISD and will attend Tarleton State University, where he will pursue an education in law enforcement and criminal justice. His career goal is to become a Texas State Game Warden. The 2016 Steven Kincaid Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Jordan “Taylor” Thomas. Taylor graduated from Stony Point High School in Round Rock. He will attend Blinn Junior College and will attend TEEX Academy while pursuing a career in fire safety. The 2015 Steven Kincaid Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Roman Zepeda. Roman graduated from Stony Point High School in Round Rock where he was active with various athletic and community groups. He will attend UT Arlington in the fall and aspires to become a police officer. The 2014 Steven Kincaid Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Brady Davis, a graduate of East View High School in Georgetown. Brady plans to pursue a career as a firefighter. He will attend the Texas A&M TEEX Fire Academy this fall. |
